My Grandma Pone was a woman whose memory contained many sayings of her childhood. As the only child, she lost her mom at 12 and was sent to live in a very busy city and a household full of cousins. I'm sure this is where she came up with this saying I'm going to share with you. She would ALWAYS say " A peace of mind is a lot to have and a peace of mind goes a long way". And as I am living my adult life I'm reminded of her words!
Nag Champa reminds me of my Grandma Pone and her words about peace and it is a staple in my "peace of mind" spiritual tools. I use it to set a meditative vibe for journaling, yoga, cleansing my crystals, or just pushing a beautiful fragrance throughout my home. I LOVE NAG CHAMPA!
I'm pretty convinced that we've all at some point in our lives smelled the sweet woodsy floral fragrance of Nag Champa. I say this because it never fails that when I refer people to try nag champa incense for meditation to people they are unsure of what I'm talking about.
But when I introduce nag champa to them by letting them smell nag champa, they instantly have a memory of the smell. I love how some memories can be pulled to the front of our minds with just a sniff of a scent. And I love how our ancestors' words will guide us to find the spiritual tools we need.
